Finance Business Partner - Exeter - 12 month Contract - £242-£350 p/d
ARM are delighted to be recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to join one of their top rail clients in Exeter on a contract basis
The role is to provide targeted strategic insights across every department of a business. They base these insights on analysis of operational performance, industry dynamics, macro-economic trends, and the competitor landscape.
**Requirements**:

- Lead and provide financial advice and guidance to senior budget holders
- Be the expert in the function on accounting practices and advise on financial results and forecasts for budget holders
- Manage corporate governance throughout the cost centres they manage
- Identify and proactively manage commercial risks, including the financial suitability of new customers or suppliers
- Manage the performance of central accounting functions
- Collate, investigate and make recommendation for investment appraisals and business case analysis

**Responsibilities**:

- Membership (Or working towards a membership) of a relevant accounting body (CIMA/ACCA) or equivalent experience
- Expert knowledge and experience of creating and maintaining accounts and annual budget
- Significant experience within relevant finance disciplines
- Demonstrable effective influencing skills at a senior level
- Significant understanding of financial control and risk
- Understanding of project management principles and experience of managing complex projects
- Extensive experience of Oracle based systems
