**Junior Business Development Executive**

**Objectives**:

- To develop a pipeline of new business in relation to commercial insurance, whilst ensuring full FCA compliance.
- To generate revenue for the business and ensure a quality service is provided to all clients in accordance with their needs and requirements.

This is a unique opportunity for a successful new business sales professional looking to make the leap into insurance broking.

**Role**
- Ensure accuracy, efficiency and professionalism when dealing with both clients and insurers
- Prospect new leads
- Undertake client visits
- Negotiate with and present to insurers in on behalf of clients to secure the most appropriate cover
- Deliver presentations of recommendations and cover to clients with the aim of placing cover on risk
- Generate further new business from existing clients via cross selling and referrals
- Monitor own sales performance in line with KPIs and effectively manage the client portfolio
- Ensure all business activity fully complies with FCA regulation and company procedures
- Achieve and maintain a high level of customer service and promote exceptional customer care standards at all times.
- Develop and maintain a professional working relationship with all clients and ensure expert advice in all areas of business.
- Liaise with the Account Handler when applicable

**Key Skills & Requirements**
- Degree Educated (1st or 2:1)
- Demonstrable record of achievement in new business sales
- High levels of customer service and IT skills
- Ambitious with a commitment to continued professional development
- Clear and confident communicator across all platforms
- Ability to effectively manage/prioritise workload and diary
- Full clean driving licence and use of own vehicle
