**Overview of the Role**

We are looking to recruit a Demand Planner, with experience in the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) environment, as part of our expansion process and to strengthen our existing team. As Demand Planner, you be integral to optimizing our supply chain processes and ensuring efficient inventory management, whilst focusing on forecasting demand to align with production and distribution strategies. From FMCG, your core skills in supply chain management, and ideally your experience in SAP, will enable you to analyse data effectively and make informed decisions. Working closely with our teams in China, your role will be crucial in enhancing operational efficiency and contribute to the overall success of our organisation through the smooth management of demand planning and deliveries of SKUs directly to South America and the Middle East, using forecasting methods to make demand and inventory clearer, which will assist the senior management team

**Overview of Role and Responsibilities**
- Work within Demand Planning team to mange stock ordering / forecasting processes
- To manage and record all stock movements within our 3PL UK warehouse and Overseas supplier warehouses
- Management and control of QPC stocks located in suppliers overseas factories
- Management of container loads from assorted factories across China
- Working with QPC China team to ensure management of LCL shipments
- To monitor, manage and analyse rates of sale, allocations, reservations and stock requirements for general sales and for specific customer needs
- To highlight slow moving lines, identifying drops / increases in sales and investigate reasons as to why and to plan accordingly
- To actively decrease stock holding where possible & to increase availability where needed

**Principle Responsibilities**:

- Stock Control / Demand Planning_
- Recording of all stock movements (700+ SKUs) on the QPC SAP system.
- Oversee all UK Imports from all suppliers
- Liaise with Merchandising team on special project timings and stock ordering
- Checking stock availability for specific customer requests and advising as appropriate
- Analysis of EPOS data from specific customers
- Run reports and analyse popular SKU run rates
- Highlight and conduct in depth analysis of overstocks and slow selling lines / sales dropping lines with regard to discontinuation.
- Organise quarterly range reviews with Directors
- Quarterly meeting with NPD to discuss best sellers and slow sellers
- Organise meetings with key stakeholders with regard to analysing sales out / reordering with regard to the above
- Weekly meetings with Ops and Sales Directors with regard to stock forecasting / stock holding / slow moving stock
- Organise Shipping Plan and reacting to changes in stock needs and movements (with China office)
- Warehouse Related_
- Recording of all stock movements within our 3PL UK warehouse, supplier warehouses, office and customer warehouse
- Reviewing all stock and sales reports received from UK warehouse i.e. weekly reconciliation
- Monitoring all packaging stock / componentry stored within our UK warehouse and all supplier warehouses.

**Required Experience for the role**
- Demand Planning and Inventory Management from FMCG, finished products, is essential from a similar environment such as beauty, pharmaceuticals etc with demonstrable knowledge of forecasting trends, patterns, seasons and sales to meet sales forecasting and demand
- Knowledge of SAP is preferred, Advanced EXCEL is essential
- Proven experience in analysis and reporting to management of sales/stock forecasting
- Understanding of CBM is essential
- Critical Path Analysis is essential
- Experience of overseas factories production and shipping plans essential
