To further grow our UK Lotus Biscoff business, we are looking for Demand planner. In this new role you will be responsible for the end to end planning and forecasting for the whole UK Lotus Biscoff business which includes 3 key categories - Biscuits, Spreads & Ice Cream in both retail and out of home channels. You will be part of our Lotus UK Sales office.
**Functiebeschrijving**:
- You will be responsible for the day to day management of our internal forecasting system that will require ongoing analysis of historical sales, promotions, customer plans plus any other outside source that impacts the demand for our products.
- You will manage stock replenishment via SAP, working closely with our planning teams in Belgium and UK customer service department to ensure a smooth flow of manufactured product to the UK to meet the demand plan.
- You analyze all relevant data (e.g. customer EPOS data or customer forecasts etc.) alongside the sales teams to help formulate short, medium and long term demand plans by customer, challenge where necessary to ensure robust and accurate forecasting.
- There will be a need to integrate fully and work collaboratively with the sales teams in both OOH & Retail and customer service department to ensure the demand plan is successfully managed and maintained.
- You identify risks and opportunities that could impact the future forecast and demand plan and ensure this is communicated ongoing to the relevant stakeholders with the organization.
- You prepare for and lead the monthly internal forecast review meeting held with our sales team & planning lead in Belgium
- You will report directly to the Commercial Director of Lotus UK.
**Profiel**:
- You hold a Master’s degree in economics, supply chain, logistics,
- You have experience in a similar role (around 2-3 years).
- You have thorough knowledge of demand planning/forecasting process, ideally experience in using IBP forecasting tool (not essential if not).
- You have experience in FMCG food manufacturing and logistics environment.
- You have extensive knowledge of retailer intranet sales systems is an advantage eg Asda Retail Link.
- You have SAP knowledge.
- You have profound knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular Excel.
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit, are a stong communicator, analytical, take ownership, hands-on, getting things done.
