We are looking for someone with the enthusiasm and commitment to undertake a quality improvement project working alongside the Elective Divisional Head of Nursing and Clinical Nurse Specialists on a fixed term or secondment basis. This opportunity requires strong communication skills and knowledge and an understanding of the NHS and National targets and initiatives driving high quality, safe and effective care.

The Elective Division includes both Warwick Hospital and Stratford Hospital and therefore travel between these sites may be necessary.

Working with the Head of Nursing, the post holder will provide high quality project management support on a variety of projects.

**Key Result Areas**:
Using project management principles and techniques to support the delivery of the Programme strategy prioritise and provide project support as required by project leads for successful delivery. Take initiative and address potential issues related to the programme.

Develop and maintain processes standards, maintaining continuity.
Provide help, support and guidance to programme team and standards and share best practice.

Support the communication and deployment strategy to ensure that the programme is communicated in a co-ordinated way. Production of documents, project plans, presentations, database using Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Vision, Outlook, Project).

Act as the lead point of contact for staff in other departments up to and including Directors, staff within the department and representatives from external organisations.

Scheduling and facilitating meetings, documenting to a high standard and circulating minutes of meetings. Ensures actions from meetings are completed within the timescale stated.

Devise and implement efficient systems and monitoring processes for completion of designated elements of the projects within the Programme for deployment with relevant action plans.

Undertake auditing and updating of the Project Risk and Issues Register, with appropriate risks/issues highlighted by stakeholders and progress with identified owners.

Implement efficient systems and monitoring processes for projects and progress action plans with appropriate General Managers.

To assist the development and support the implementation of Lessons Learnt and any post project reviews. To develop and share associated logs for embedding lessons learnt for best practice.

Organise, arrange and facilitate events, workshops.

Responsibility for the ordering of stationery, equipment and maintenance for the Programme teams.

Undertake other reasonable duties within the project field as requested by the line manager.

Prepare reports required to input into the Trust’s IG Toolkit.

Dealing with confidential, sensitive and contentious information relating to the Programme, including staff details.

Responsible for drafting regular programme communication to staff and implementing the communication strategy.

Keep up to date with Programme developments, priorities and changes.

Prioritise own workload to meet deadlines and demands of the project.

Establish and maintain filing systems, preferably defaulting to electronic record keeping systems.

At all times maintain a clean and risk free environment

Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation including COSHH, risk assessment, infection control and disposal procedures

At all times maintain confidentiality

Ensure that all patients, clients and colleagues are treated at all times in an equitable manner, respecting diversity and showing an understanding of diversity in the workplace

Work within Trust policies and procedures to respond to complaints and investigate any concerns about service delivery or quality of service
