We have an exciting opportunity to join our Sauce team. Reporting to the Sauce Team Leader, based on the night shift in the Cookhouse & Laboratory but with flexibility covering the Cookhouse Prep & Technician roles. Working Sunday to Thursday 10pm-6am.

**What's the role about?**

Reporting to the Team Leader, the role will be responsible for processing food ingredients to an agreed standard of quality and hygiene.

The role requires flexibility at all times and the capability of covering the Cookhouse Technician and Prep-op roles. When not providing cover, they will ensure the Cookhouse team is well stocked with ingredients and the GMP of the cookhouse is satisfactory.

All tasks must be completed in a manner to achieve the safe, hygienic, efficient and best-cost manufacture of all designated products to the required quality, specification and quantity.

- Demonstrate flexibility in line with Business Requirements
- Be organised, conscientious and be confident in ability to operate machinery
- Be able handle a high level of responsibility, remaining calm and focused under pressure
- Have basic food hygiene trained in-house
- Have an awareness and understand of all CCP’s for the Line
- Have a high level of numeracy and literacy - demonstrate accuracy in paperwork and in calculations.
- Have good Communication skills - working collaboratively with operatives and the Team Leader
- Have excellent awareness of Health and Safety
- Have an excellent timekeeping and attendance record

**Salary**: £15.16 per hour
