**Brief overview of the role**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 1st Line Technician to join our growing support dream team. This team is a vital part of the organisation, as we’re the first point of call for our customer base. We aim to make customers feel part of the team, working closely together to resolve technical issues.

**Working week**:
9-5 monday to friday

**Positions available**:

**Vacancy description**:
1) 1st Line Tech support
2) Networking Printers & PC’s
3) Providing remote technical support
4) Passwords
5) Remoting to employers
7) Setting up office 365
9) Explaining things to non-technical customers
10) Backups
11) Setting up Hardware/ fixing hardware

- You will be highly organized with excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- You will have a clear and obvious interest in IT and technology in general
- You will have a desire to succeed and be a team player

- You will be adaptable with the ability to multitask
- You will have superb IT skills and a base knowledge of hardware & software.

**Training to be provided**:
CORE MODULES
The apprenticeship contains the following three core key modules which seek to develop the
knowledge, skills and behaviours required to be a successful Information Communications Technician.
The final module is a Pathway module to provide specialist career track skills and knowledge depending
on which track was chosen at the outset from the 3 options available.

Computer Fundamentals & Security
Gain an understanding of the core concepts in computing including hardware, software, security and troubleshooting.

Introduction to Networking & Cloud Services
An introduction to the fundamental cloud
concepts of networking and cloud computing, including networking
modules, devices and protocols.

Communication in Support
Support in IT requires good communications skills. Develop your communications skills by exploring the best practices of support.
