An exciting 6-month fixed term leadership opportunity has become available on Ward 230 for a clinical educator. Ward 230 is a 36 bedded, diverse speciality Gastroenterology/Hepatology both acute and fast paced, with a forever evolving environment.

As Clinical Educator, you will combine clinical expertise and a passion for teaching into rich and rewarding careers. Nurse educators play a pivotal role in strengthening the nursing workforce, serving as role models and providing the leadership needed to implement evidence-based practice.

Educators will be co-responsible with the Education Lead for designing, implementing, evaluating and revising clinical education. They are critical players in assuring quality educational experiences preparing the Nursing workforce for the diverse, ever-changing health care environment. They are responsible for the facilitation and delivery of mandatory and departmental nurse education and training within their designated area, working collaboratively with the 7 Senior Sisters, Quality Nurses and Matron.

Applications are open for B5 registered professionals and above who are dynamic, innovative and dedicated, with a strong background in the speciality and exceptional leadership skills.
