**Responsibilities**:

- Signing in: Upon arrival, security staff must sign in at the Security office, stating their name, the time they arrived, and sign out when finished.
- Check-in: with the head of security or the manager on duty to receive instructions for their shift.
- Uniform: Security staff must be in full uniform during their shift, which must be collected at a designated location.
- Radio: Each security staff member will be issued a radio, which they must carry with them at all times during their shift.
- Conduct: Security staff must conduct themselves professionally at all times while on duty, being courteous and respectful to all guests and staff, and ensuring they follow all policies and procedures.
- Vigilance: Security staff must maintain a high level of vigilance while on duty, regularly patrolling the premises and being alert for any signs of suspicious activity.
- Emergency response: In the event of an emergency, security staff must follow the emergency procedures outlined by the hotel, including alerting guests and staff to evacuate, calling emergency services, and assisting with any necessary evacuation.
- Communication: Security staff must maintain open communication with the head of security, the manager on duty, and other staff members, reporting any incidents or concerns promptly and keeping everyone informed of any changes to their shift or the security situation.
- Confidentiality: Security staff must maintain the confidentiality of all information related to the hotel and its guests, not disclosing any sensitive information to anyone outside of the hotel.
- Conclusion of shift: At the end of their shift, security staff must sign out and inform the head of security or the manager on duty that they are leaving, returning their radio and ensuring that any issues or concerns are reported before leaving the premises.
- Keeping car pick-up and drop-off areas clear.
- Monitoring sound decibels and reporting any issues or complaints to the reception.
- Capacity reporting for events or gatherings.
- Assisting guests with their luggage, providing directions and information, and performing other customer service duties.
- Maintaining the smoking area.
- Managing radio channels.
- Enforcing gate closing times.
- Monitoring access to private areas.
- Familiarizing oneself with the tablet to call for cabs.
- Familiarizing oneself with the area for directions.
- Ensuring staff identification upon entry.

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in security or related field preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of vigilance and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
