**Job details**:
The School of Medicine and Dentistry wishes to appoint 2 Lecturers in Medical Sciences to contribute to course management, course delivery and course development in the area of Medical Sciences, and to undertake related research and knowledge transfer activities. These post holders will play a central role in support the diverse student population, especially those from a Widening Participation background. This position is based on the Preston campus, occasional visits to other sites may be necessary.

Working within a committed and enthusiastic team you will focus primarily on programmes in the School of Medicine and Dentistry, including Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Physician Associate programmes. Applicants from a broad range of Medical Science disciplines will be considered, but we are particularly interested in those with a strong background in microbiology, immunology or cell biology. You will support the Integrated Science and Clinical Medicine Theme Lead in the academic leadership, development, delivery, and assessment of modules.

Motivated and enthusiastic, the successful applicant will possess good communication skills and have the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. The ability to show initiative and innovation and a flexible approach to teaching and learning are essential skills.
