**Development Team Leader**

Midlands, Hybrid, 1-2 days in office

£45k - £65k + £5k Car allowance + 30% Bonus

**Who They're looking for**:
The type of experience they're after includes any regulatory knowledge, ideally, particularly working with 3rd party regulators, as you'll spend a lot of time speaking to compliance departments to shape requirements.

You will have line management responsibility of this technical function with full responsibility for the teams' output, their development and meeting the Business's regulatory objectives.
- Knowledge and experience implementing software development methodologies and techniques such as Waterfall and Agile including Kanban, Scrum, XP, LEAN and Crystal
- Experience in managing developers and teams
- Experience implementing appropriate processes, procedures, documentation and software engineering practices to realise early delivery of high-quality working software
- Preferably experience of working within a regulatory framework and an appreciation of the significance and sensitivities this involves

**Key responsibilities**:

- Overseeing and developing the smooth operation of the MIS function
- providing reporting systems to communicate Business information back to internal stakeholders and external bodies
- Delivering green field projects and functional changes on time according to externally set timelines
- Ongoing maintenance of a varied and growing technical estate
- Provide the host of API's which regulators can access information through. It's very important information as regulators can shut down licences, so it's essential the information is accurate
- Taking responsibility of stakeholder management including compliance, accounts, tax, change, InfoSec, infrastructure, software development, project management, 3rd parties and senior management
- Understanding all planned and in-flight projects to a competent technical level in order to provide detailed, regular progress updates to senior management
