**The Role**
As a Customs Agent, you will effectively complete import and export customs entries on behalf of our customers, ensuring all entries are HMRC compliant.
In this key role, you’ll provide customers with comprehensive advice and guidance on what information you require to clear their goods through UK ports and process both import and export declarations.
In this role, you will also:

- Process all required documentation to agreed deadlines
- Build relationships and rapport with new and existing customers
- Check all relevant customs and trade documents
- Undertake a variety of administrative tasks
**About You**
To join us as a Customs Agent, you will need:

- Experience in exporting and/or importing
- Knowledge and experience in creating shipping documents
- Geographical and current affairs knowledge
- Competent keyboard skillsood problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to adhere to strict deadlines
- Good numeracy skills
- To be willing and keen to undertake relevant training
A good standard of education to GCSE/O level including English Language
