**About the role**
As the Dealing Administrator you will work alongside the Dealing Manager in order to provide support for the undertaking of and management of all client trades, ensuring all trades are completed accurately, timely, in accordance with our terms of business and adhere to all aspects of regulatory undertaking. You will also ensure that the department operates competently and to a satisfactory level on a day-to-day basis on all other tasks and alerting the Dealing Manager and other department heads of any issues/concerns immediately.
**Your Key Responsibilities**:
- Acting to deliver good outcomes for our customers by following the Consumer Duty rules and guidance set by the FCA and our own internal core values and behaviours.
- Ensure that all dealing trades are placed and processed correctly by the team and that all tasks related to this role are conducted in the most efficient and compliant manner.
- Support colleagues in respect of complaints where queries have been raised and provide appropriate evidence where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with Platform Ones policies and procedures.
- Undertake daily monitoring of the Dealing Inbox & Dealing Click Up space, raising appropriate concerns to the Dealing Manager.
- Assist in the creation of any new investment records on The Market Data Page on Platform ensuring they are set up in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist in the processing of all VCT investments and liaise with the IFA & VCT provider to ensure timely investment and process.
- Work alongside Engineering to ensure all aspects of trading are correctly undertaken and any issues reported accordingly.
- Help identify new improved operational processes and procedures to ensure the Dealing journey is as smooth and efficient as is possible.
- Participate and represent on projects as and when appropriate.
- Upon request, attend training sessions, internal and external, to keep up to date with knowledge.
- Work collaboratively with other areas of the business in order to achieve the overall common objective.
- Any other request by management, commensurate to the grade.**
Future Dealing responsibilities**
- Ensure that the data feed received for the pricing of stocks is accurate and operational.
- Process corporate Actions & Dividends in a timely manner following procedure and ensure all responses are dealt with within the deadline given.
**Skills & Qualifications**
- Knowledge of Consumer Duty FCA principle 12.
- GCSEs in Maths & English at Grade C, or equivalent.
- At least 2 years experience within the Financial sector.
- Experience in a Dealing environment is preferred.
- You are a positive, independent, self-motivated and hands-on.
- Youll need to have an inquisitive mindset, with strong problem solving & decision-making skills.
- Team player, with the ability to work autonomously.
- You are an excellent learner and take the initiative to learn about new tools, frameworks, channels and best practices.
