Protocol Education are recruiting a graduate teaching assistant to work in a South Tyneside secondary school. This is an entry level position with no previous experience required.

As part of your role (working full time, Monday to Friday
- during term time) you will support a KS4 pupil with SEMH and complex behavioural needs. Due to the SEND needs of the pupil that you will be working with, the role may be suitable for a psychology graduate or someone who has experience of working with challenging behaviour within care or other sectors.

This well regarded OFSTED graded good school is located within easy reach of Jarrow, Hebburn and South Shields town centres. It is easily commutable from the surrounding areas of Gateshead and Sunderland.

If you are a graduate interested in a career in education psychology or teaching then this could be a fantastic opportunity to gain paid experience working with SEND.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
