**About Us**
Based in Burgess Hill, our manufacturing business was established in 1994. We specialise in producing environmentally friendly professional cleaning products for local and worldwide distributors.
**Purpose of the Role**
Key Tasks:
- Answer the telephone and taking customer orders,
- Book in in-coming deliveries
- Advise on expected (outgoing) deliveries,
- Take messages for colleagues etc
- Contact haulage company concerning customer deliveries.
- Update customers concerning orders, deliveries, queries.
- Process/input customer orders into **Sage and ACT systems.**:
- Update customer details - Sage and ACT systems, colleagues as appropriate.
- Support Sales/office staff with any other tasks e.g. filing, sending out samples, etc, (as appropriate).
- Comply with all relevant Company policies and procedures, including but not limited to Health & Safety Policy and Equal Opportunities
- From time to time you may be required to undertake other duties as required
**Required Knowledge and Experience**:
- Experience of Microsoft Office packages: Word, Excel (Essential)
- Experience of Sage Manufacturing and ACT system (Desirable)
- Excellent communication and written skills with a keen attention to detail (Essential)
- Confident, positive telephone manner (Essential)
- Good spoken English (Essential)
- Confident in asking questions - of customers and colleagues (Essential)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good organisational skills utilizing a methodical and efficient approach to tasks (Essential)
- Professional attitude and strong team player (Essential)
- Willingness to learn within own role, department and company.
- Can use own initiative but also follow clear instructions
- Commitment to role
- Awareness, understanding and willingness to follow Health & Safety guidelines and company policy/procedures
**Terms of employment**
**Pay: £23,000 per annum**
**Holidays:
- 20 days annual leave, plus all bank holidays**. 3 days holiday must be reserved each year from the annual entitlement, for the week the Company is shut between Christmas & the New Year. Annual entitlement increases after 5 years’ service.

**Salary**: £23,000.00 per year
