**Role**:
- This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced Display Manager to join our lively, ambitious, and collaborative Investment team.
- Reporting into the Display Investment Director, this role ultimately focuses on planning, executing and managing multiple campaigns across Print and Digital.
- A core part of the role also involves negotiation of campaign pricing and values, and tracking campaign delivery against specific client price, quality and audit targets.
**Team/Department Profile**:
This vacancy is an opportunity to join the Display Investment team, which is responsible for planning and buying both Programmatic Display and Print Media. The team is comprised of 30+ individuals with diverse skills and expertise across the media and technologylandscape. Display Investment works in close collaboration with Communications Planners, and other Activation Teams to help design integrated solutions to our clients’ communications challenges. Members of the team are aligned to key client brands and expectedto build strong direct relationships through impeccable servicing, high quality product, and transformational proactive ideas.
The Investment Team represent the Agency, and their clients, in the Media and Technology Marketplace. Individuals are expected to have a detailed knowledge of market dynamics, and the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and third parties.The team are not only skilled in traditional planning and negotiation, but also responsible for designing programmatic solutions for our clients. Working alongside dedicated programmatic traders, the Display team are responsible for evaluating new inventorysources / data supplier’s / technology partners on behalf of their clients.
**Responsibilities**:
The Display Manager reports into the Display Investment Director and is responsible for VISA, P&O and AXA’s day-to-day Display media activity (as well as print where relevant), planning and overseeing a campaign from brief to activation and review. You willhave line management responsibilities for 1 Senior Executive and 1 Executive.
**Core responsibilities of the role are**:
- Establish yourself as the key go to Display contact for your Clients and Senior Planning leads.
- Ensure delivery of best practice planning and buying product. As Manager, you will have ultimate responsibility of all your teams’ output - strong rationales informed by data, rigorously thought out plans, accurate and insightful reporting, etc.
- Ensure the delivery of performance objectives as well as pricing and quality KPIs.
- Assist clients in building future facing programmatic solutions and ways-of-working.
**Qualifications**
Key requirements for this role are:
- Ideally 4+ years relevant experience in planning consumer facing Programmatic and Digital Campaigns (including performance).
- Understanding of the programmatic digital marketplace, inclusive of ad-tech and programmatic opportunities (although programmatic trading experience is not a requirement).
- Digital media experience within a managerial role will be beneficial.
- Great negotiation skills and commercial appreciation.
- Excellent relationships with media owners and 3rd party suppliers.
- Well-versed in handling clients and multiple stakeholders such as direct client facing PCA presentations.
- A proven record of consistently over-delivering on client objectives.
- Experience in training / delegating work to more junior team members.
- Experience delivering data driven marketing, including use and activation of client DMPs.
- Advanced understanding of technology innovation, specifically mobile opportunities such as location, mobile payments and coupons, etc.
- Experience of the print marketplace and ability to plan and run print campaigns
