We have a great opportunity for an approachable and professional Receptionist / Office Assistant to join our Head Office to work on our busy but welcoming Reception desk as part of the Office Services Team covering a wide range of tasks to ensure a smooth running of the office.
- The role will involve covering our main reception every day from 8:30 until 13:00 then working on administration tasks in the afternoon, ensuring H&S is prioritised for the site.
**What you'll be doing**:
- Carry out all routine tasks as required by the office services team
- Carry out morning reception duties to ensure a continuous cover of the desk and tasks within
- Welcome visitors into the building and ensure staff are made aware they have arrived
- Manage post that comes in to and goes out of Peterborough Head Office which includes sorting and franking including parcels for courier
- Check Head Office stationery stocks and place orders to replenish accordingly
- Building maintenance including tidying storage rooms, meeting rooms and kitchens
- replenish stock
- Conduct daily/weekly/monthly H&S checks including testing emergency lights, fire exits and fire drills
- Check security camera / Provide handover sheet for changes in shift/security
- Promote best practice of safety procedures on site and within car park

- Experience from large corporate environment would be an advantage but not essential
