**Office Administrator/Receptionist TF Heating and Plumbing (Peterborough)**
TF Heating and Plumbing, a reputable and growing company based in Peterborough, is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and organised **Office Administrator/Receptionist** to provide practical support to our operations team.
Experience in plumbing, heating, electrical, or renewable energy industries is beneficial but not essential.
**Role Overview**:
This is a task-focused position designed to assist with various routine office tasks that support the day-to-day function of the business. You’ll work closely with our engineers, customers, and internal teams to help ensure communication runs smoothly and appointments are correctly logged and relayed.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Handling incoming telephone calls and redirecting them as necessary
- Entering and updating job details in our internal system
- Relaying information between office staff, engineers, and customers
- Assisting in scheduling of appointments based on instructions from the senior operations team
- Responding to basic customer queries using templates or guidance provided
- Supporting the preparation of standard customer quotations as directed
- General clerical duties such as filing, document preparation, and data entry
**Additional Duties May Include**:
- Booking appointments on behalf of team members
- Following up with engineers for job updates or part needs
- Assisting other staff with general office tasks as required
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in an office environment with routine admin or clerical tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Word, Outlook, and Excel)
- Friendly, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured tasks and being part of a collaborative, hands-on team.
