**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Process accounts payable, including managing invoices, payments, and vendor relationships.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as required.
- Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits.
- Provide support in the implementation of new accounting software or upgrades to existing systems.
- Ensure all financial transactions are documented and filed appropriately.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role within an accounting department.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero is essential.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A relevant qualification in accounting or finance is advantageous but not mandatory.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 15 per week
