As the company continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Traffic Operator to enhance our team. We would like to bring someone on board who will be influential in the future growth of the business, who will possess the same level of ambition, drive and determination to succeed.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Knowledge/experience of the Road Haulage industry
- Planning and routing a traffic sheet to maximise profitability
- Dealing with drivers on a daily basis
- Knowledge of EU Drivers Hours & Regulations
- Dealing with subcontractors on a daily basis
- Dealing with customers on a daily basis
- Communicating with ports/depots on a daily basis
- Booking Vehicle Booking Slots for entry into UK ports/depots
- Using a Transport Management System
- Checking all PODS are matched up with all the correct jobs on the system
- Previous experience as a Transport Operator
- Ability to forecast and plan
- Confident and clear communicator - written and verbal
- Must be happy to do on call as part of a team
- Excellent UK geographical knowledge
- Can work on own initiative
- Quick and efficient problem solving skills
- Organised at all times
- Flexibility to meet the demands of the business
