We are working closely with an exciting and forward-thinking niche business in East Anglia who, due to exponential growth, is in search of a Senior DevOps Engineer to strategically implement and map out the systems as the business continues to grow.
We need an experienced DevOps Engineer who can proactively take lead and maintain, support, and develop the software and infrastructure from concept through to production.
This is a remote based role, however you will ideally need to travel to the offices every so often.
**Key responsibilities**:

- Monitor and administer production environments.
- Work in a team that is responsible for the development, testing, delivery and maintenance of their cloud infrastructure, software, and services.
- Support and improve the existing integration processes, implementing continuous deployment to production
- Assist with continuous improvement of source control, integration and testing processes, procedures, and tools.
- Assist the development teams on how to implement and use DevOps practices and values.
- Contribute to discussions, decision making, and provide conflict resolution between the test and development to resolve issues.
- Monitor metrics and feedback.

**Experience Required**:

- Strong experience of Microsoft Azure
- 4+ years’ experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer
- Experience in using Azure DevOps Services for CI and CD pipelines
- Understanding of infrastructure as code and experience with Configuration Management tooling such as Terraform, DBup and ADS
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field - e.g. computing or engineering
- Desirable to have SQL DBA experience
- Ability to clearly communicate with engineers, managers, and customers
