**If you are the type of person who likes to be kept busy whilst surrounded by amazing people, this could be for you**
Trust-care are currently working with a very well-established care organisation in their search to bring on board an experienced support worker to add to their wonderful team. The organisation itself is very clear with regards to their values and ongoing responsibilities they have to provide the best care possible for their service users. With a number of bases spread across central Scotland, our client is extremely family focused and committed to providing practical, emotional and physical support to individuals with disabilities.
Within this role you will have the opportunity to engage with a variety of individuals, as there are multiple service offerings & service users all within their own small community and within walking distance of each other. All individuals are reasonably able when it comes to their day-to-day activities, so there will be mínimal handling duties.
Now, hopefully you are the type of person who likes a chinwag and are not to shy when talking about yourself. The reason for this is that the service users you will be caring for love to get to know the new team members, and they are not shy about grilling you with questions to get to know you It is all in good faith, they are really just a very inquisitive group that enjoy building positive relationships with all of the staff.
One thing you will never experience is a dull day These ladies & gents love to be kept active and they will be sure to keep you on your toes if they aren’t being entertained. They love nothing more than getting out in to the community to meet new people, so you can expect to be getting your steps when supporting them away from their residence. The guys also love to head out on day trips together, get involved in arts & crafts classes, catch a flic at the cinema or grab a table at a local café for a spot of lunch and a cuppa.
You will have the opportunity to be a key part of a top team, with many who have worked there for a number of years. All of the staff are very welcoming with any new colleagues and love to share their knowledge of the service users, just so you know what to expect. You will be made to feel a part of the family in no time at all
We are seeking someone who is reliable, caring and friendly, and who is always willing to put the needs of their service users first.
So, if you have experience working with adults impacted by learning & physical disabilities and are looking to make a positive change in someone’s life, this could be just the position for you
We asked our team why they enjoy working for Trust Care and found we share key values. If these are values you care about, you can be sure you'll fit in just fine
