Rowan ward at Petersfield Hospital cares for patients with Physical Rehabilitation needs, as well as some palliative care. We have undergone lots of changes to our patient group and ward layout and are now looking for a full and part time Health Care Support Workers who are able to work flexibly across 7 days a week. You will receive regular supervision and annual appraisal and will be offered training opportunities to meet your Personal Development Plan.

Enthusiastic and motivated people are needed to join our multi disciplinary team and support the qualified Nurses in providing effective health care in a safe and therapeutic environment. If you have good communication skills and you are genuinely interested in caring for older people then we would like to hear from you. Previous experience of working within a care environment or the NHS is desirable but not essential as you will be supported in learning in the role, it is more important for you to be enthusiastic and willing to learn and become part of our close, supportive team.
