**Salary**: £40,000 to £50,000

The Role
You will help to steer the direction of Citation's group digital products and software platforms. Your expertise will help us understand and cater for our 100,000+ clients' journeys across and within products.

As a UX Researcher, you will champion our users' cause, proactively looking for and researching opportunities to enhance our core and complementary client technology offerings, considering the market and competition.

You will work closely with other members of our Product team to challenge and promote user-centric software through iterative, agile processes e.g. working with UX/UI Product Designer and Product Owners to collaborate with users to craft easy to use, intuitivesoftware that simplifies and supports clients' Compliance and Quality needs.

Using tools such as Lookback you'll validate potential designs and solutions, ensuring optimal outcomes for users.

As a UX researcher, you'll need to:

- Work closely with the Product team on understanding the vision for the Group and our platforms.
- Build out our 'Labs' panel of clients, to gather continual feedback.
- Plan, design and conduct usability testing processes from developing user recruitment through to test moderation, analysis and reporting.
- Conduct research to gather insights for new product and concept developments.
- Actively balance client research with market trends and business aspirations to validate assumptions and hypotheses.
- Model insights gained from user research into formats to enhance understanding of our users - such as personas and user journey maps.
- Have great verbal communication skills, as you'll present your research findings across multiply stakeholders.
- Work closely within a multidisciplinary team, including product managers/owners, UX designers and web developers.
- Support the team with creating a research-led culture promoting user centered design principles and best practice across our thinking.

We are looking for some who has
- Experience in software research.
- Understands and can practice various research methods.
- Experience of using prototyping software tools.
- Enthusiasm for design and technology.
- The ability to operate with ease in a fast-paced and demanding business.
- Understanding of Agile and Sprint based development.
