**The role**

As a Senior Applications Analyst you will:

- Perform duties in line with the ITIL framework at all times
- Maintain knowledge of the different departments across the organisation
- Be the escalation point for incidents, projects and changes
- Keep abreast of current and upcoming technologies, ensuring the team are also continually developing their skillset
- Promote teamwork, leading by example
- Manage relationships with 3rd party vendors and suppliers
- Manage system upgrades including patching
- Maintain in-house documentation for systems, interfaces and APIs

**Key requirements**

As a Senior Applications Analyst you will need:

- Experience of managing or leading a team
- Proven experience working with modern databases and systems
- The ability to manage contract renewal processes with 3rd party suppliers
- To be able to develop software governance frameworks
- The ability to work in cross functional teams including with Infrastructure, Security and network
- An understanding of software development concepts and design principles

A salary of between £50,000 - £53,793 plus benefits which include fully remote working and the industry leading Local Government Pension Scheme
