An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Purchasing Co-ordinator to join our Supply Chain Department.

Some of the key duties are:

- Placing orders via our PO software
- Liaise with suppliers on eta’s and back orders
- Assist in regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records
- Assist in the implementation of efficient business processes to optimise stock control
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure timely delivery of materials, ensuring stock levels are maintained according to the demand
- General administrative duties
- Have knowledge of PVCu products, ideally those required to manufacture windows and doors
- Enthusiastic with a can-do attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable
- Flexible and willing to work overtime when required
- Good communication skills and the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships
- Excellent organisation skills and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

A positive approach to problem solving in the department is essential.

Previous stock, procurement or supply chain experience is required.

**Job Type**: Full Time, Permanent

Salary dependant on experience/qualifications

Hours: 40 hours per week, 8am-4.30pm Monday-Friday
