**Role Overview**:
**Thirteen Group** is on the lookout for **a Payroll Administrator** to**join our Payroll & HR Transactions team on a fixed term basis until the end of April 2026. You would be predominantly based from home, working 1 day a week in our lovely Middlesbrough based office for 'Team Time' and then additional some ad-hoc days when the business requires.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor a busy shared inbox working to SLAs, providing advice and guidance to our customers on pay related queries
- Processing all aspects of payroll in line with UK legislation and company policies (including some month and year end tasks)
- Correct calculation and regular monitoring of payments and deductions
- Processing all payroll transactions with high attention to detail, prioritising own workloads and meeting strict deadlines
- Support the development and implementation of streamlined processes and the use of self-service tools.

**About You**:

- Previous demonstratable Payroll Administration experience and experience of the effective use of Payroll/HR systems
- Ability to analyse and challenge people and data where this does align with policies and procedures
- Ability to consider the 'bigger picture' and understand impact of actions on customers/teams/processes
