CoolKit’s products include van conversions and insulated box bodies, a range of ready-converted vans, and bodywork in kit-form. All of these are designed and manufactured in-house. The range of Melform portable refrigerators for small and partial loads completes the line-up. CoolKit has recently pioneered conversions for electrically powered vehicles (EVs), addressing the challenges of payload, range and safety that this type of vehicles present. All these products are supported by a network of specialist mobile technicians dedicated to maximising uptime.

Employing a valued team of more than 140, CoolKit’s 100,000 square feet workshops enable up to 60 vans to be worked on simultaneously, facilitating output of more than 2,000 converted units per annum for markets in both the UK and overseas.

**The Role**

Working as part of the Box team, you will transform the empty chassis into a refrigerated vehicle ready for the road as per customer specifications and the build plans.

You will ensure the CoolKit Quality Standards are continuously met resulting in Customer satisfaction and continuing CoolKit’s reputation within the industry.
- Day to day duties include, but are not limited to:

- Complete build of Box Bodies.
- Fitting insulated panels and other ancillary items for the box bodies requiring a high-quality finish.
- The fabrication of Subframes to the Chassis as well as all the other details such as wiring looms and some other specified fixings.
- Working in a safe manner
- Following all H&S legislation

**About You**

You will have experience of using handtools and working within the manufacturing sector. You will be able to follow instructions and develop an appropriate consideration for Health & Safety.

You will also have experience of working on commercial vehicles, (LCV, LGV, Coachbuilding etc.)

You will be reliable and quality orientated.

**Skills / Experience / Qualifications**
- Experience of working in a fitting or fabricating environment
- Previous experience of working in a fast-paced engineering / manufacturing organisation
- Able to work within a team
- Experience working on commercial vehicles (LCV, LGV, Coachbuilding)
- Proficient with power tools
- Trade Experience (desireable)
- Pro-active, energetic, resilient and flexible
- Safety Orientated
