We are looking for a Full-time Warehouse Operative to manage Goods in and Goods Out.
- Primary Responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative_:

- To check goods in against delivery notes for accuracy and damages;
- Load and unload trucks and vans in line with H&S procedures;
- Move goods to relevant departments using pallets trucks and electric ride on trucks;
- Notify the relevant Department via the Delivery Note of any short shipments/mis-picks;
- Notify relevant Department of any damaged goods received and place in the Quarantine section, awaiting further instruction;
- Physical movement of stock from the Goods In area to the warehouse and/or packing and putting away stock onto the shelves;
- Shelf replenishment; take from pallet bin locations, replenish shelf and then put the balance back in pallet bin location;
- Packing goods into boxes;
- Maintain yard and department tidiness/recycle the cardboard;
- Ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded;
- Small amount of PC work, to transfer the stock between bin locations (training provided);
- Assemble boxes;
- Organising warehouse delivery schedules;
- Preparing the warehouse and vans for the next working day;
- Labelling goods in and out in order to efficiently keep track of deliveries;
- Organising transfers and loading goods on to delivery vehicles;
- Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse will also be part of the daily routine;
- With heavy equipment in operation, warehouses can be dangerous places, so following workplace health and safety rules will be essential.
- Knowledge and Skills: _

1. Reach Forklift licence essential;
2. Counterbalance truck licence an advantage;
3. Attention to detail;
4. Ability to work to procedures;
5. Good communicator;
6. PC literate with good administration skills;
7. Experience in manual handling and Goods In/Out preferred;
8. Ability to prioritise workload;
9. Flexible and trustworthy;
10. Driving licence is essential;
11. Heavy lifting.

**Salary**: £18,000.00-£19,000.00 per year
