We are searching for an enthusiastic person to join our Front of House Administration team at the**studio** in Birmingham City Centre.
Born as ‘The Orange Studio’ in 1999 we started with our award-winning Birmingham location and just 5 meeting rooms but it’s safe to say we’ve grown a lot since then. We became the**studio** in 2006 and we are now an independent company, owned and run by the same team since the beginning but now having grown to 46 meeting rooms across 4 locations around the UK.
Though we’ve grown a lot our friendly, people focused ethos and culture very much remains at our heart. It’s important to us that everyone that attends one of locations feels welcome and looked after. We’re not a large corporate chain and we’re really proud of that. We work hard. We be ourselves. We have fun.
We’re passionate about giving our clients the best experience and really care about getting things right. **about the job**:
We are looking for the right person for this role, so we are looking at part time, job share or full time. From around 25 hours per week. The role is based on our reception desk so we are looking for a friendly person, with great customer service skills.
- Work at the Studio’s main reception desk, greeting customers, directing clients to the correct room and providing information to clients.
- This is a desk based job, which should be manned at all times.
- Keeping the area clean and tidy at all times, keeping the area uncluttered. Assisting clients with the coffee bar and keeping this area clean and tidy also.
- Monitor and manage our Facebook, Twitter, Blog and other social media sites.
- Helping to maintain and develop our presence on Social Media using other forms of Social Media.
- General reception duties and administrative assistance.
- Using KX to print reports, know which rooms are in use and other activities.
- PR support.
- The hours will be based on a rota system
**about you**:
- Being the first port of call, you are the face of the Studio. First impressions count, so you need to be well presented, friendly and willing to help.
- You will have great people skills, be organised and efficient.
- You need to have knowledge and experience of using various Social Media, as well as Outlook.
- Your English written skills must be excellent as you will be ‘voice’ of Studio.
- Reception experience preferred.
£10.50 per hour
