Administrative Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
- Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and professional manner
- Type and distribute correspondence, memos, and forms
- Maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
- Perform data entry tasks to input and update information accurately
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff
- Manage inventory of office supplies and place orders when necessary
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
**Skills**:
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Proficient in typing and computerized systems
- Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Previous administrative or office experience preferred
- Data entry accuracy and speed
Vision Care at Home are a domiciliary opticians who have branches in Newcastle, Scotland, Manchester, Yorkshire & Birmingham.
We are currently looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our ever expanding team in Birmingham.
Main duties & responsibilities:
- Answering and making calls to customers, handling any queries they have.
- Filing and administration tasks
- Processing Nhs and private sales through our system
- Ordering spectacles/lens prescriptions for customers
- Arranging spectacle deliveries
- Skills required:
- Good administration
- Skills Problem solving
- High level of customer service Organisation
- Punctual
Pay: £15,530.72-£21,670.00 per year

- 8 hour shift

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
