**HR Business Partner**

**Location**: Reading

**Type**:Full time, initial 6-month contract

**Hours**:Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm

Our prestigious client is currently recruiting for an experienced HR Business Partner Generalist to join their HR Client Services Team. You will oversee the provision of support and guidance to our business unit leaders on company policy and best practiceand manage the stakeholder relationship, providing support to the wider HR function.

**The role**:

- As HR lead for three business units, you will deliver timely and effective HR Support to the senior leaders, mitigating risk and prioritising employee retention.
- Use and understand people tools and policies, engaging clients effectively to ensure their use across the Business Units.
- Devise and deliver the HR strategy into the business unit in collaboration with the Head of HR and wider HR team.
- Design and implement high impact solutions to meet the needs of the business units.
- Coach and build capability of senior managers to anticipate and pre-empt organisational issues.
- Continuously drive improvements in tools, policies, and process.
- Build robust company wide networks and build and engage in communities of practice.

**The person**:

- A Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources Management, Business, Social Sciences, or a related discipline
- CIPD Chartered Member status is desired
- Proven experience in influencing change, coaching, and challenging leaders in a large, complex, fast paced and changing environment.
- Flexible and willing to travel when necessary, with the occasional overnight stay required.
