EU Events Experience Specialist/Coordinator

Job Description

Responsibilities
- Manages design and execution of all EU Tradeshows
- Onsite project manager at bigger shows (PLS and PLASA)
- Oversees and drives all pre show prep ensuring everything required is packed and ready to go prior to arriving at the show floor
- Keeping an EU vision for tradeshows, whilst aligning with the US directives
- Find and maintain relationships with stand builders and local supplier
- Budget management for each show, using feedback from previous shows to keep doing better
- Maintain dealing and working relationship with exhibition organisers and local stand builders
- Work with Product Management team and Lighting Designer to define available product mix and placement, as well as overall design.
- Execute best ROI on tradeshows
- Work with US and EU team to ensure a succinct approach to Tradeshows and ensure a similar vision and execution across events.

Profile
- Events Coordination and Production Management experience necessary
- Experience managing suppliers for booth build at tradeshows
- Understanding of technical drawings - able to both read and create cable, rigging and data layouts etc.
- Good knowledge of English. Knowledge of French, Dutch and German optional
- Hands-on and proactive, this is a hand on Production Management role
- Comfortable coordinating teams, connecting the marketing, product and sales teams for optimal results
- Degree in Event Management or similar competence through experience
- Specific event industry experience required
- Must be willing to travel for prolonged periods up to 3 weeks at a time
- Must hold a valid UK driving license
