Technical Product Specialist

Cybersecurity software company is seeking a technical Product Specialist to join their Technical Support team on a permanent basis. Operating in the growing cybersecurity market, the specialist will use deep technical knowledge to help customers deploy and use the company’s products in various environments (cloud, on-premise, CI/CD pipelines). The role is based in Knutsford, Cheshire.
- A passion for technology in general and an interest in enabling security through continuous deployment in DevOps. A fast learner able to absorb information about a very broad range of technical.
- Experience with one or more cloud solutions and an understanding of DevSecOps.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral with the ability to communicate with technical specialists through to novices.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to pursue open-ended investigations into obscure problems and carry out your own research to obtain relevant knowledge.
Responsibilities include:
- Getting hands-on with customers to help them deploy our products in a variety of environments (cloud, on-premise, CI/CD pipelines).
- Partnering with our customer-facing teams to win the technical sale.
- Collaborating with software developers to understand product features and to pass on insights into how they are used by our customers in the real world.
- Investigating bug reports by attempting to reproduce, diagnose, and, where relevant, fix issues that people run into.
The role will be based in Knutsford, Cheshire, involving 5 days a week in the office (9am-5pm).
