The role of the Technical Estimator - Metal/Lead Products will involve:

- Technical Estimator position dealing with a manufactured range of lead products such as shielding systems, doorsets, boards, screens and windows into the healthcare market sector
- Dealing with inbound project enquiries
- Reviewing drawings and scope of work and prepare costings
- Producing quotations for clients and following up to convert the sale
- Liaise with clients to make amendments to scope of work
- Liaise internally with Sales, Production and Project Management to ensure smooth running of projects
- Attending meetings and site visits to conduct surveys where required
- Prioritise own workload to meet deadlines
- 70% based from office, 30% site (Nationwide, with the bulk of projects in the South East)

The ideal applicant will be a Technical Estimator - Metal/Lead Products with:

- Must have Estimating experience within the engineering/construction industry, ideally working with metals / heavy engineering
- Would also consider a surveying background
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Confident, outgoing team player
- Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Computer literate
- Full UK driving license
