Social Pantry is looking for a Event Planner to manage our top clients and venues. The job will require you to provide outstanding customer service, sell and organize memorable events that meet quality expectations. The job will consist on:
Prepare event menus and quotes using guidelines set out in Event Planner Handbook.
- Handle incoming customer enquiries.
- Follow up and log all business leads and quote enquiries.
- Revise and amend quotes at the clients requests in order to meet the clients bespoke requirements.
- Ensuring you are quoting and proving a high level, effective and profitable event at all times.
- Monitor all long lead event enquiries with care and attention required in order to win business.
- Put together exciting, innovative and delicious menu combinations for events in line with brand, seasonality and food trends.

**Operations**:

- Work closely with the kitchen team on weekly kitchen prep.
- Organise staffing travel, uniform and logistics.

**Small Contract Account Manager**:

- Work closely with the client on the account to ensure 100% total satisfaction throughout the contract.
- Write seasonal menus suitable to the contract price point and preferences.
- Plan weekly menus with the kitchen which are on budget, in season and varied.
- Communicate weekly menu, numbers and variable details to the client on a weekly basis.
- Facilitate monthly meetings with the client to gain feedback on services.
- Facilitate transport, logistics, staffing, uniform and equipment logistics.

**Client care**:

- Manage clients effectively; providing a friendly, polite and flexible service.
- Build strong relationships with clients ensuring a personal touch is maintained throughout their journey.

**Financial**:

- Budget and execute profitable events.
- Accurately budget for events.
- Create detailed profit and loss analysis post each and every event.
- Forecast monthly event revenue.
- Compare supplier charges and costs at all stages of event planning.
- Benchmark relative competitors and know where Social Pantry sits within the competition.

**New Business**:

- Work with the marketing department to constantly maintain and update the client database.
- Acquire new business for Social Pantry on a monthly basis.
- Submit a monthly report on business gain and financial wins.
- Write and execute a ‘gaining new business’ plan every three months in line with the company growth strategy and plan.
- Consistently work with the aim of increasing the profitability and database of Social Pantry.
