Step into the role of Associate Event Planner, where your expertise will shape and deliver impactful client events that drive our strategic goals. You'll be at the forefront of developing innovative event concepts, selecting prime venues, and crafting engaging content that resonates with our target markets.

Collaborate with global events colleagues, bankers, product partners, and senior management to ensure a consistent and distinctive client experience that underscores our business strategies. Your efforts will be pivotal in deepening client relationships, enhancing business opportunities, and upholding the J.P. Morgan brand at every event.

As an Event Planner, on the Private Bank events team, you will work with the team leads in developing and executing event strategies that align with J.P. Morgan's brand standards and business objectives. You will, collaborate with senior event planners and contribute to high-profile client events that support business goals. You will manage all aspects of event planning, from inception to execution, ensuring a consistent and professional experience for our clients.

Additionally, you will manage event communications through our event management platform, including invitation and website creation, reminder and post-event communications. A strong emphasis on data management throughout the event planning process, including post-event tracking and ROI analysis, will be required. Your expertise in the EMEA region and strong event management skills will be essential for success.

**Responsibilities**:
- Understand business objectives and help develop an event strategy that supports business goals- Manage high-touch events consistent with J.P. Morgan Private Bank brand standards- Excel in data and budget management, task prioritization, and operational efficiencies.- Familiar with key European cities, venues / vendors, as well as cultural nuances- Collaborate with other lines of business, to leverage cross-sell event opportunities- Influence stake holders to keep projects on track and in line with regional strategy- Negotiate with event venues and vendors to maximize budget allocations- Think strategically and problem solve by offering creative solutions with business acumen.- Multitask and work under tight deadlines with prompt and clear responses- Participate in frequent events team and business meetings, providing updates as needed- Demonstrate strong presentation skills

**Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills**:

- A minimum of 4 years prior experience in event management related activities, with expertise fully dedicated to the events management field, rather than marketing or public relations.
- Exemplary oral/written communications and interpersonal skills
- Solid project management experience
- Extremely detailed oriented
- Given the nature of the role, flexibility to work long hours, including weekends, and frequent travel will be necessary.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint & SharePoint sites
- Willingness to learn, always adapt and have a positive and professional attitude
- Skilled at handling difficult personalities and able to liaise with senior management on a regular basis
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to interact energetically and collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals.

Proficient in data analysis, with the ability to leverage data-driven insights for reporting and presenting event activities.

**Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills**:

- European language skills a plus
- Prior experience in financial services desired
