My client, a renowned membership organisation, with beautiful offices in Central London, seek an experienced, readily available Events Planner to join the events team for an initial 6 month fixed term contract.
The Event Planner will be responsible for the management and delivery of a portfolio of face to face and virtual events and projects as part of the organisation’s education functions. You will work as a collaborative team player delivering an informativeand exciting education and training programme
Main tasks will include;
Event logistics; delivering events either online or face to face. This will include the ability to source, scope and book suitable locations and venues within a pre-agreed budget, including catering, meeting space and audio visual.
You will also be required to manage cost effective, on budget, external supplier contracts to deliver successful events, represent the organisation on-site at national and regional meetings, events and conferences, taking full responsibility for the end-to-endmanagement and smooth running of these events
We are looking for someone who can create a strong presence at an event, ensuring, speakers and delegates are fully supported, including pre-event technical support to speakers, chairs, and delegates, including problem solving if required. Content is recordedand you will need to oversee editing and delivery of this post-event.
Post event analysis and strong administration skills for the organisations CRM is also essential for this role.
