**Our client, a global pharmaceutical company with an innovative and exciting growth plan, are currently looking for a Government Affairs & Communications Specialist to join their team.**

A key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the implentation of Government Affairs & Communications strategies for their leading therapy area portfolio.

Representing our client, this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business unit focused on oncology. You will be responsible for brand engagement and raising brand awareness through PR/media engagement, corporate communications, policy and patient engagement

**Key Responsibilities**
- Supporting the development of high impact public affairs, policy and media engagement strategies in support of a key therapy area
- Coordinating broader media engagement strategies, working closely with the marketing team to ensure strategies are in line with brand goals
- Creating and managing corporate communications campaigns
- Engaging with patient groups, NHS senior management and policy groups

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a Government Affairs & Communications role particularly within the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong understanding of the ABPI code
- Team oriented with the ability to create and maintain strong working relationships with partners and other teams
- Strong attention to detail and excellent project management skills
