**Job Purpose** CCEP has a range of highly ambitious sustainability targets in sustainability plan _This is Forward._

At the forefront of this is our commitment to net zero carbon emissions by 2040 and, with roughly 50% of our carbon emissions associated with packaging, achieving this goal will require transformational change in our business over the next 20 years.

This role is an opportunity to be at the heart of that change - supporting coordinating and driving the delivery of _This is Forward_, working with internal and external stakeholders to create impactful programmes that bring our strategies to life and enhance our corporate reputation.

**Key Responsibilities**

Delivering CCEP’s sustainability plan _This is Forward_
- The owner of two key pillars - 'Action on Packaging’ and 'Action on Drinks’ - responsible for oversight and delivery of all related targets in the GB Business Unit, achieving delivery through matrix working with other key functions
- Providing programme management and light touch reporting as part of _This is Forward_ governance processes
- Support the collation of our key data for internal and external reporting.
- Coordinating the business to deliver on key commitments, including around recyclability, plastics reduction, packaging collection, sugar reduction and others.
- Managing relationships with key external partners (e.g. charities, trade associations, Keep Britain Tidy and Keep Scotland Beautiful etc.)
- Aligned with our public affairs agenda, act as the CCEP lead representative for several cross-sector groups, including The UK Plastics Pact, WRAP, and membership organisations, such as RECOUP, to ensure our internal activities align with external thinking

Providing support for our customers and commercial teams
- Provide sustainability advice, information and support to commercial and field sales teams
- Develop regular briefing/training materials to ensure internal stakeholders are kept up to speed with the latest developments.
- Develop shopper and customer activations, which support both the commercial and sustainability strategies.
- Support the work of our Public Affairs team on key policy developments related to packaging and waste.

Inputting in to communications
- Input into regular communications forums to ensure we’re promoting our sustainability activities to internal/external stakeholders
- Attending external events, conducting presentations and representing CCEP in various sustainability forums.

**Key Stakeholders**
- Internal Stakeholders within CCEP GB, Corporate and individual BU’s.

Including:

- Sustainable Packaging Office
- Commercial and Field Sales Teams
- Commercialisation Teams
- Strategy/Insights/Transformation Teams
- Procurement
- Stakeholders within TCCC, working closely with the Head of Sustainability
- Cross-Franchisors, e.g. Capri-Sun and Monster
- External Stakeholders:

- Customers
- Trade Bodies
- Various partnership groups and charities

**Experiencepreferred** Essential
- Extensive knowledge of sustainability topics, particularly UK packaging landscape (legislation, trends, recyclability, retail/consumer focus)
- 3-5 years+ experience working in a similar role within a large corporate organisation (e.g. retail, FMCG etc.)
- Demonstrable experience running projects/campaigns end-to-end - initial concept, forming and leading cross-functional teams, measuring and delivering results
- Ability to influence in a complex, matrix organisation
- Excellent written, presentation and public speaking skills.
- Prior experience of operating at both operational and strategic levels.
- Ability to develop effective relationships with Customers.
- Ability to work effectively with charities, NGOs, Trade Associations, Partner organisations, and other external stakeholders.
- Must have a high level of energy, initiative, positivity, resilience and a 'can-do’ solutions-focused attitude

**Qualifications required**:

- A degree or similar in an Environmental discipline is desirable.
