Due to the continued expansion of our highly successful specialised engineering company, including our award-winning data centre design and build business, we have a fantastic opportunity for a full-time HR Assistant to be based from our Chadderton office.
The role will report directly into the HR Manager, and you will work collaboratively and cohesively together on generalist HR tasks.
Duties will include:
- Assisting with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
- Providing HR support across the full employee lifecycle
- Minute taking in investigation and disciplinary meetings
- Updating and maintaining accurate employee records ensuring GDPR compliance
- Recording and tracking absences on our time and attendance system
- Assisting with recruitment related activities
- Conducting initial orientation to newly hired employees
- Managing the onboarding process
- Managing the leaver process
- Producing HR statistical reports
- Maintaining the HR database
- Supporting with project work
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who possesses:
- Experience of working within a generalist HR environment
- CIPD qualified at least level 3 (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to organise own workload
- Fantastic communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to build strong relationships at all levels
- PC literacy (MS Office, including Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and independently.
Whilst the role is based in Chadderton, there will be some occasional travel to the Manchester office.
