**Operations Administrator Job Description (London Office, Biscuit Factory Bermondsey)**
We are recruiting for an Operations Administrator to support the everyday operations of our small family-run company. Working as our Operations Administrator, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Answering the phone
- Keeping track of inventory/stock
- Maintaining client records
- Handling maintenance issues
- Providing administrative support as needed.
To succeed as an Operations Administrator, you will be able to oversee and ensure smooth and efficient daily operations. We encourage you to make the job “your own” and being able to resolve issues yourself is a must.
**Place of work**: This role is office based. Your place of work will be in Bermondsey, London
**Hours**:Monday to Friday 09.00-17.00 with 30mins paid lunch break per day
**Salary**: £23,500 to £27,000 per annum based on experience.
**Operations Administrator Responsibilities**:
- Answering phones and responding to client requests and inquiries.
- Managing and updating company databases.
- Keeping track of inventory and ordering supplies.
- Maintaining Client records.
- Drafting and mailing customer correspondence and newsletters.
- Organising events, scheduling meetings, and making travel arrangements.
- Managing the Maintenance workload.
- Working with the Engineer to ensure Maintenance work is complete.
- Ensuring Clients are updated with work completed.
- Providing administrative support to other departments or projects as needed.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
**Operations Administrator Requirements**:
- 2+ Years of experience as an Operations Administrator or in a similar position.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to Multitask.
**Optional**
- We deal with suppliers in Holland, Italy and Turkey, any experience in these languages would be seen as a plus.
**Salary**: £23,500.00-£27,000.00 per year
