Work Patterns: 12-month Fixed Term Contract Job purpose summary: Join us at LLA as a Flight Operations Administrator and play a vital role in supporting our airport’s sustainable growth while helping us maintain strong, positive relationships with our local communities. In this key position, you’ll provide both administrative and financial support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Flight Operations Team. You’ll be instrumental in helping us grow responsibly, keeping our operations aligned with community expectations and regulatory standards. Key responsibilities and accountabilities: Provide confidential clerical, secretarial and administrative support to all of Flight Operations to meet business needs. Accurate and timely filing, management of the office environment, document control, Office 365 management and other administrative work for the department. Manage the purchase ordering system on behalf of the team in accordance with LLAOL’s purchasing guidelines. Liaise with the Accounts Team for invoicing/expense queries when required. Attend internal and external meetings as required and take minutes of these meetings, including public surgery events and Noise Insulation Scheme sub‑committee meetings. Some may be outside of normal working hours. Oversee LLA’s Noise Insulation Scheme: contact property owners eligible for insulation and maintain a record of property owners’ details and works taking place. Prepare presentations to respond to queries relating to the Noise Insulation Scheme for internal and external use at community/stakeholder forums, supported by other members of the Flight Operations Team. Book venues, travel and entertainment tickets, hotels, etc. for the team and any visitors and organise staff welfare (well‑hampers, birthday cards, staff lunches). Collate, produce, and when necessary design ad‑hoc and routine reports and ensure their accuracy and timely delivery. Process annual leave applications for the team as per company policy. Support the logging, investigation and responses to noise enquiries from the community. Ensure health, safety and well‑being of yourself and colleagues in the workplace; support our journey to create an open and honest wellbeing culture at LLA. Contribute to delivering a great guest experience by performing your role with accuracy and efficiency; recognise that every task, whether guest‑facing or behind the scenes, contributes to the company’s overall LLA Way Strategy and service standards. Proactively and positively promote the LLA Way initiatives and projects with all employees and the wider airport community. Qualifications required: Experience working in a similar role. Financial management experience – desirable but not essential. Excellent organisational, planning and administrative skills. Excellent IT and PC literacy with specific skills in Microsoft Office 365.
