**About the role**:

- Working within the fast paced and rewarding Children’s Services department, you will provide high quality support for the teams within Children’s Services:

- Undertake customer service functions across the department, including reception and call handling.
- Help update the finance models and information for services across the department to support the team.
- Scheduling meetings, compiling agendas, recording meetings and distributing minutes, following up actions and sharing information.
- Support the onboarding and induction of new starters, including user set-up, equipment requests and IT induction.
- Maintain and update records and support teams with data entry and numerical data.
- Develop professional relationships with your own team and with others who we work alongside and provide services to.
- Within your role you will:

- Complete a Business Administration at Level 3 qualification funded by the Council. This will involve attendance at a college and/or completing tasks in the workplace (depending on specific course requirement).
- Join a personal and professional development programme that will involve a series of varied development activities and events throughout your time with the Council.
