Working within the Customer Execution and Trading function, you will be key part of a fast paced business. As Rewards is such a new proposition we are embarking on a transformation programme to improve our processes and drive our strategy forward. This will enable us to land effective campaigns that not only drive acquisition but are commercially viable. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and develop processes in a high profile & strategically important part of the business. As well as managing the full end to end process of promotional nominations.

This role offers real diversity, as you will be working cross functionally within the business. Building strong and collaborative relationships is key to landing a cohesive program of activity. Through promotional analysis & category deep dives you will work closely with trading teams to autopsy performance and influence future campaigns. As well as working daily with the Proposition team to ensure campaigns land effectively and critical paths are followed. It is important you are always championing the commercial voice at all cross-functional stakeholder meetings.

You will be working as part of a team of 3, whose remit covers all food & non-edible, so you will have the opportunity to learn and gain an understanding of several areas and work with many other functions within the ASDA business.

**The ins and outs**:

- Management of promotional critical paths
- Challenging traders to ensure the Rewards principles are kept and the customer is at the heart of the decision.
- Leading process improvement for promotional nominations.
- Developing and gatekeeping the Rewards principles.
- Analysis and reporting of Reward performance.
- Understanding the way Rewards works at a category level to make data led recommendations.
- Strategic planning of the quarterly Rewards trade plan.
- Liaising cross-functionally & stakeholder engagement is key to delivering market leading activity
- Being the bridge between commercial and the App proposition team.

**What you'll need**:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills.
- The ability and confidence to influence others and negotiate effectively to achieve strategic aims
- Strong analytical abilities and sound financial awareness, coupled with sound Microsoft Excel skills
- The ability to spot and act on opportunities, to deliver ever improving ways of working.
- Great time management skills, with the ability to priorities' short and medium term projects
- The ability to flex your style, engaging and working across different levels of the business
- Challenging the status quo and adding value where appropriate.
- A trading background would be beneficial but not essential, enabling you to understand the complex nature of different OD's and existing software's / processes.
