Birmingham, United Kingdom Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust Full time

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a ground breaking mental health partnership established to revolutionise mental health care and give Birmingham’s children, young people and young adults up to age 25, the modern service that they need and deserve.

Forward Thinking Birmingham’s Project Management Office is looking for a high quality, driven Project Support Officer (PSO) to join the team. This is an office-based post that will give the postholder the opportunity to work across the city with a high level of autonomy, and with a wide range of operational and clinical colleagues to deliver strategically important pieces of work. Homeworking is possible.

Our vision is to be the first city where mental health problems are not a barrier to children, young people or young adults achieving their dreams. Our ambitious mission is to exceed all expectations of what mental health services can achieve for children, young people and young adults in Birmingham; resetting the bar for generations to come.

Could you be part of this by joining the PMO Team? Young people have told us that the people who work within FTB are key to their experience, just as important as the actual care they receive.. We are looking for staff who are committed to delivering safe, caring and innovative solutions to mental health services for 0-25s.

Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust is the first of its type in the UK. Our Trust was formed in February 2017 to drive forward our commitment to provide the highest quality, world-class physical and mental health care for our women, children and families. Uniting our hospitals means more seamless care; more investment to make greater advances in our specialist treatment and world-leading neo-natal and fetal work. Importantly, it also gives us a greater voice in shaping the future of family-centred care.

Birmingham Children's Hospital is a UK leading specialist paediatric centre with an international reputation in several areas.

Birmingham Women's Hospital is one of two dedicated women's hospitals in the UK, with the busiest single site maternity unit, delivering more than 8,200 babies a year offering a full range of gynaecological, maternity and neonatal care.

Forward Thinking Birmingham (FTB) Mental Health Services are a unique, innovative community and inpatient mental health partnership. Alongside partners FTB offers care pathways of mental health assessment and treatment for young people aged 0-25 years old.
