**Senior Children’s Therapeutic Support Worker - Welshpool**

**Full Time**: 40 hours per week

**Pay**: £12.33p/h

**Requirements as a Senior Children’s Therapeutic Support Worker in Welshpool**
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience within a childcare setting
- To be responsible in coordinating shifts in the absence of the delegated Group leader
- To promote, safeguard and protect the welfare of our young people
- Establish and maintain positive and trusting relationships with our young people
- Encourage the development of individual interests of our young people
- Support our young people to attend school which is situated on site
- Experience of supporting young people who may be vulnerable is essential
- UK Driving license

**What do we ask of you as a Senior Therapeutic Children’s Support Worker?**
- Understanding and commitment to the role - including one weekend off every three weeks
- Participating in activities and ensuring we provide young people with a place they feel at home
- Be capable of working on your own initiative
- Have good inter-personal skills and be a positive team player
- A desire to engage, motivate and encourage the young people in our homes
