**About the role: THIS IS A 6 MONTH SECONDMENT BASED AT HEAD OFFICE**

To effectively manage and plan all available manpower resources to ensure successful delivery of Ocado groceries on time and within budget. To ensure all legal and health and safety regulations are observed and followed and headcount resources are managed within working time regulations. This role is shift-based to support the 24/7 operation of the business. There will be the requirement to work regular weekends.

**You will be**:
The primary responsibilities of the role encompass maintaining accurate Time and Attendance data for Ocado employees, efficiently managing labour resources to meet customer demand and adhere to key performance indicator (KPI) metrics, actively participating in shaping operational resource requirements and monitoring overall headcount balance. The role involves addressing roster-related employee requests such as swaps, holiday, and overtime, providing labour requirements for agencies, and monitoring their performance and shift fulfilment. Additionally, the position requires handling internal inquiries, effectively managing Ocado employee holiday entitlements within business restrictions, addressing roster queries promptly and professionally, identifying potential savings and improvements for the department, and supporting their implementation. Effective communication within Ocado Logistics teams, the development and maintenance of positive working relationships with Logistics Operations Management teams, and involved participation in achieving Planning Department KPIs are essential. The role also involves ensuring that daily tasks are completed accurately and on time, taking responsibility for ad hoc tasks and operational issues, and ensuring compliance with Competition Compliance Guidelines and the GDPR policy. Occasional visits to different sites across the UK are part of the responsibilities.
