We have an exciting opportunity for an **Assistant Production Planner** to join our team based in**Welham Green.**You will be joining us on a **full time, permanent basis **and inreturn, you will receive a **competitive salary of up to £25,000** **per annum plus benefits.**

**Davall Gears** is a long-established UK manufacturer and supplier for the design and production of gearing systems and specialist gearboxes. Established in 1886, the company have been long associated with the supply of precision gears to companiesacross the world. Certified to AS9100 Rev D and accredited to Nadcap special process EDM machining. Davall is a specialist in the aerospace and defence power transmission field and has an “in-house” design and technical department to call upon for the development,prototype and manufacture of systems and assemblies for commercial, medical, military and aerospace industries.

**We ask that all applicants have unconditional permission to work in the UK, as unfortunately we are unable to sponsor visas.**

**Working hours**: 39 hours, Monday to Thursday 08:00am to 5:00pm and Fridays 08:00am to 1:00pm.

**About the Assistant Production Planner role**:
The Production Planner will support the Production Planning Manager with the planning of the production schedules.

**Key Duties of our Assistant Production Planner role will include**:

- Assisting in the scheduling of Sales orders into Production schedule
- Managing and controlling production schedules daily
- Raising Works Orders for Production
- Managing and controlling the Order book via communication with production, despatch and sales team
- Liaising with customers on progress of their orders
- Accessing customers portals and update delivery schedules and ERP system
- Working with Purchasing to identify material and bought out part shortages
- Liaising with Purchasing and Logistics to prioritise jobs through outsourced operations

- An enthusiastic, reliable, and flexible team player
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise day to day tasks
- Good attention to detail
- Competent computer literacy skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
- Experience of ERP systems
