As we grow, we are looking for an experienced and passionate **Team Leader** to help us deliver high-quality care and support while ensuring our team remains aligned, motivated, and compliant with all standards and policies.

**Role Purpose**:
The Team Leader will play a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring that our staff team provides consistent, person-centred support to our service users. You will be responsible for supervising staff, coordinating daily schedules, managing health and safety, overseeing administrative tasks, and ensuring staff training and development is up to date.

**Key Responsibilities: Staff Leadership and Support**:

- Lead, supervise, and support a team of support workers to deliver safe, effective care.
- Hold regular 1:1 supervisions, team meetings, and performance reviews.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful team culture.
- Ensure staff adhere to best practices and service values.
- Monitor and manage staff rotas, attendance, and shift coverage.

**Health and Safety**:

- Take responsibility for ensuring the environment meets all health and safety requirements.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and site checks.
- Ensure that safety incidents, accidents, or near misses are documented and responded to appropriately.

**Service User Administration & Support**:

- Oversee the development and regular review of care/support plans.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records for service users.
- Support person-centred planning and ensure service users are engaged in meaningful activities.
- Be a point of contact for families, carers, and external professionals as needed.

**Training and Compliance**:

- Monitor staff training records and ensure all mandatory and specialist training is completed on time.
- Identify training needs and liaise with training providers or management to arrange ongoing development.
- Ensure service delivery aligns with relevant legislation, safeguarding policies, and organisational procedures.

**General Administration**:

- Maintain up-to-date documentation including incident reports, daily notes, audits, and reports.
- Support the Service Manager in meeting regulatory requirements and preparing for inspections or audits.

**Requirements:Essential**:

- Experience working with adults with learning disabilities and/or Autism.
- Previous supervisory or team-leading experience.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, and person-centred planning.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in basic administration and digital record-keeping.
- Full clean driving license

**Desirable**:

- Relevant Health & Social Care qualification (Level 3 or higher).
- Experience in a day service or community-based setting.
- Knowledge of CQC standards and care planning software.

Pay: £29,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
